Animals in Distress
Animals in Distress is a small, local charity cares for and rehomes unwanted pets. Pets can only be rehomed to people in the Torbay and West Country area because of home checks.
Blue Cross
The Blue Cross treats sick and injured animals and has a national network of adoption centres.
Cats Protection
Cats Protection rehomes over 75,000 cats every year and provides shelters and rehoming services throughout the country.
Cat Action Trust 1977
Cat Action Trust 1977's policy is to help feral cats by limiting their numbers through neutering and returning to site, and by finding homes for kittens and tame stray cats. The charity is totally against killing for expediency and is entirely run by volunteers.
Celia Hammond Trust (CHAT)
The Celia Hammond Trust has over 400 cats available for rehoming in London and the South East. The Trust also runs low cost neuter /vaccination /microchip clinics.
RSPCA
The RSPCA has many branches over the UK and rehomes more than 35,000 cats each year.
SSPCA
The largest animal welfare organisation in Scotland.
